Funding will allow for impactful program development & delivery to support K-12 students
Columbia, MD - The Community Foundation of Howard County announced that Oakland Mills United is a recipient of its 2023 community grant awards. Oakland Mills United is proud to be one of 49 nonprofit organizations serving the Howard County community to be awarded this grant.
“It is so exciting to see the growth of Oakland Mills United and the financial support we are receiving from our community,” said Samuel Hahn, Executive Director & CEO of Oakland Mills United. “We have seen the impact our leadership, student enrichment, and college preparation programs have on students in Howard County. We are thankful for the funding provided by the Community Foundation of Howard County to invest in these programs to better serve students across the county”.
Oakland Mills United is proud to offer free programming for all students in Howard County. This funding will directly impact the students utilizing these programs by investing in quality curriculum design, instructors, and program materials.
