The Mission of The Oakland Mills Local Leadership Team (OMLLT) is to mobilize residents of the Oakland Mills Village to build an equitable and cohesive community where children, youth and families thrive. This brief and anonymous survey will identify the needs and challenges that are being faced by families and youth in Oakland Mills through COVID-19, and guide the development of strategies and programs to address these barriers. The youth survey focuses on young people between the ages of 9 – 25 years and the adult survey focuses on adults 25 years and above. The survey is available in English and Spanish. Join The Oakland Mills Local Leadership Team (OMLLT) at our 2021 virtual Oakland Mills Community Dinner to have a conversation with someone in our community you may not know. The theme for our Oakland Mills Community dinner event is “We’re Not Really Strangers.” The goal of this event is to create pride, unity, and a sense of belonging and connection among the residents of Oakland Mills. This event will take place on the Zoom platform on Saturday, May 22nd from 5:30 PM (EST) – 8:00 PM (EST). Registrants will have the opportunity to order dinner from a number of Oakland Mills eateries.
